  2. EXCLUSIVE! Shanghai Disneyland under construction (satellite view):

  3. There will be a roller coaster of the 7 Dwarfs, the same one that is about to open in Disney World.

  4. I have a question.

Will there really be only ONE roller coaster in this first phase of the park? We will get the Tron Lightcycles coaster, but that's about it. No Big Thunder Mountain, no Space Mountain, nothing new. Every other Disney park has at least 2 major roller coasters, and Shanghai Disneyland will only get... one?

  7. Good news:
    http://shanghaiist.com/2014/01/26/china-eastern-airline-shanghai-disneyland.php

Shanghai Business News this week reported that China Eastern Airline passengers who travel to Shanghai will be given free admission tickets to Shanghai Disneyland after the resort opens in 2015.
In combination with the 3 day visa-free transit, from 2015 it'll be perfectly worth flying anywhere via Shanghai!

  8. Shanghai Disneyland going up fast now!

The first of two Disney-themed hotels in the Shanghai Disney Resort topped out on Wednesday.

Located inside the 3.9-square–kilometer resort set to open at the end of 2015, the seven-floor hotel with 800 rooms will be one of the main accommodation options and feature key views including the resort's central lake.
The hotel topping out was preceded by the installation last week of the first vertical steel for Shanghai Disneyland's "mountain", which will be located in a key area of the theme park and will be the second-highest structure at Shanghai Disney Resort after the Enchanted Storybook Castle. On completion it will also stand as the highest "mountain" in Shanghai's Pudong New District.
