  4. Walt Disney Co. will begin selling tickets to its latest theme park, Shanghai Disney Resort, on March 28.

The company said it will adopt a demand pricing structure for tickets to the park, with tickets during peak days priced at 499 yuan ($76) and “regular” tickets on off-peak days at 370 yuan ($56). Pricing during the first few weeks after the park's grand opening, from June 16 through June 30, is set at 499 yuan.
Disney said its pricing structure for the Shanghai resort is aimed at spreading out visitors to the park throughout the year, by encouraging visits when the park is expected to be less crowded.
It also will cap the number of visitors to Shanghai Disney Resort each day to avoid overcrowding.

  5. I went to the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland on the 12th September 2005 and they did not have a soft opening. The park officially opened on that date as did the hotels.

I am still in awe how these cyclists managed to just ride on the Shanghai Disney site. Next to impossible to do this in America.

Well this is the quote from before:

Don't show up on June 15th expecting to be able to buy a ticket even if there are 20k people they let inside, they've all been invited.

Great report! By the way, the "Scrooge McDuck Bank" is apparently a checkout area for Avenue M Arcade.
