Quick flyover of the Disney estate with very quick view of Disney's Hollywood Studios and the construction of Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land. It really isn't looking like much going on down there...

New Nickelodeon Resort in China broke ground this week.

Viacom broke ground Wednesday on the Nickelodeon Cultural Resort in the southern city of Foshan.
The Nickelodeon theme park is part of a broader development scheme called the Foshan Cultural and Ecological Coastal Project. The $1.71 billion (11.9 billion RMB) development covers an area of about 750 acres, with 250 set acres set aside for Nickelodeon-themed attractions. It is expected to open in 2020.

Looks like this project may be fully closed if they don't get the contracts signed in the next couple of weeks.

The Korean Water Resources Corporation (K-water) and Universal Studios Korea have missed the deadline to sign a contract to develop a Universal Studios theme park in the country.

Finalised construction plans were due to be submitted by the end of December. The plan to build a Universal Studios amusement park will be cancelled altogether if an agreement is not reached within two weeks reports the Korea JoonAng Daily.
A K-water representative said, “USK had to come up with a finalized version of a contract for us to sign but they just didn’t do it. We don’t think it is about the details on amount of money for the project but think it is due to the internal issues within USK. We will wait two more weeks for them to submit the contract.

WDW have just released their resident tickets for 2017 and potentially may have indicated Pandora's opening dates.

The most interesting facet of this is the blockout dates exclusive to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park that begin on May 27th, 2017 and run through the end of the tickets on June 9th. Based on when these dates are, it seems likely that this is currently penciled in as the official opening of Pandora: The World of AVATAR at the park. As we learned from Rivers of Light, these things are always subject to change, but it seems likely that Pandora will kick off the Summer season with a grand opening during Memorial Day weekend 2017.

This is the most up to date google earth image from Dec 2016. Doesn't look much like they are including a themepark to me and I have not been able to find any recent news on the amusement elements of the project.

I think this one is dead but hopefully someone else has better information?
