Ratatouille is really taking shape now, easily viewed from the skyliner though it is difficult to photograph well because of the skyliner wrap material obscuring the windows. These were taken on Friday 22nd November and there was a lot of activity on the site.

EuropaCity has been abandoned as a project and will no longer be pursued in it's current format. It may not be completely cancelled but won't be the same as it was originally scoped to include a themepark etc.

The EuropaCity project was supported by local politicians, but was opposed by environmental organizations to trade associations. Disputes that have regularly been brought before administrative justice, slowing down the implementation of the project. The head of state believes that it no longer meets the aspirations of citizens.

EuropaCity had the ambition to attract 30 million visitors a year, combining businesses, cultural facilities, leisure parks and hotels.

The final track piece has been installed for the Tron Lightcycle Run roller coaster at Magic Kingdom! The final piece connected the exterior loop to the show building and marked a fully completed track less than 5 months after the first track piece was installed.

It was announced this week that SeaWorld San Diego is adding Sesame Place to its resort, which will be a 17-acre park featuring rides, attractions and more inspired by the classic children't TV property. Interestingly, this new park is being built where Aquatica San Diego now sits, and will incorporate Aquatica's water rides and slides into the new park with updated theming.

When it opens in 2021, Sesame Place San Diego will feature seven brand new rides, including the following:

Super Grover-themed family coaster
Spaceman Elmo-themed spaceship spinning ride
S.S. Duckie-themed rotating pendulum arm ride
Abby Cadabby-themed wave swing ride

Hello Kitty, an iconic Japanese cartoon character, will find a new home in China as the country's southernmost island province of Hainan will open a theme park based on her image in 2024.

According to an agreement signed between Sanrio (Shanghai) International Trade Co., Ltd., which owns the rights to the Hello Kitty brand, and Chinese company Funde Holding Group Co., Ltd., the theme park will be located in Sanya's Haitang Bay, a popular beach city in Hainan.

The project will include a theme park, a hotel and shopping facilities.

The park is expected to receive about 2 million tourists each year after it opens to the public in 2024, according to Pan Jiade, chairman of Funde Holding Group Co., Ltd.

New Aquarium and "themed areas" including waterpark and theme park planned for Vietnam.

A new high-tech aquarium that developers claim will be a model for future aquarium projects is to open on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, in early 2020.

Located within a wider theme and water park development that is being created by Vinpearl Land, the leisure division of Vietnamese real estate company Vingroup, "The Sea Shell", as the aquarium will be called, will be one of the most technologically-advanced aquariums ever imagined, the company said.

Vinpearl is working on a number of additional new developments that will expand the range of tourism offerings on Phu Quoc Island, with theme and water parks under construction, as well as expanded resort facilities.

Leaked Photos Show Interior of Resistance Transport Ship for Rise of the Resistance Attraction

This ship will play a critical role in the Rise of the Resistance attraction, taking guests from Batuu up to space before they’re captured by the First Order in a Star Destroyer.

The I-TS will function much like the elevator shafts at the Escape from Gringotts attraction or even a bit like the stretching room in the Haunted Mansion in that it will drive the story forward without much motion. The ship will, reportedly, turn 180-degrees to allow the load and unload areas to take place through the same door. By putting the I-TS on a turntable, Disney can load guests at the 6-o’clock position and unload guests at the 12-o’clock position, starting in the cave systems of Batuu and ending up in the Star Destroyer.

Lost Island Waterpark in Iowa, USA is adding a theme park to its estate.

With a significant budget of $ 100 million, Lost Island Themepark will be partly funded by the state and the city. Work began in September 2019.

The new park is expected to span 200 acres, 30 of which will be divided into 5 thematic zones. It will include various attractions, created to offer an immersion in the magical country stories that can only be found on Lost Island .
