The latest Z Press news letter from Zamperla says theyve sold a Thunderbolt to Robotland South Korea opening next year. Perhaps it is back on.

Not much news but does anyone know if this structure is to house the reverse spike of the launched coaster? the comment here suggests it might

Updates from two long delayed Chinese projects

The S&S launched coaster at Sun Tzu Park looks like it's finally getting underway. Ground work is underway and the track is all on site.

Fuli Ocean Park on Hainan is also now properly underway. The footers for the Intamin beyond vertical coaster can be seen as well.

F1-X Theme Park looks like its back underway.

A mystery what if anything they'll be able to salvage from the coasters left in the desert for the last few years.

Excellent post by Micael listing the up and coming projects. I can add a couple of locations to that.

    10. Wanda Chengdu Cultural Tourism City
    Completion: 2018
    Location: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@30.9586024,103.6103632,1755m/data=!3m1!1e3
    Budget: $7.6 billion

    11. Wanda Guilin Cultural Tourism City
    Completion: 2020
    Location: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@25.2296861,110.3106087,1131m/data=!3m1!1e3
    Budget: $2.5 billion

    12. Wanda Chongqing Cultural Tourism City
    Completion: 2020
    Location: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@29.6302613,106.3498183,1542m/data=!3m1!1e3
    Budget: $8 billion

The Chongqing and Chengdu ones are accurate and the weird show buildings Wanda build to showcase the model at each park are present on the satellite image. Guilin is based on diagrammatic maps seen of the project and is approximate.

And in relation to Wuxi. The mall is well under construction but nothing vertical on the park yet

Coaster wise the expected lineup is
    B&M Wing Coaster
    Mack Blue Fire Launch Coaster
    Intamin Impulse Coaster
    Golden Horse Wild Mouse.

The Chengdu park is still moving forwards. It is however quite a way out of the city in a different town that I believe is a bit of a holiday destination in China.
They have also announced their own park in Chongqing which will be to the west of the main city.

Both these parks are way in the future though. 2019 at the earliest from what I remember.

    Wanda Xishuangbanna (Opened October 2015)

Wanda City Nanchang (Opening October 2016)

    Wanda City Hefei (Opening 2016)

    Wanda City Harbini (Opening 2016)

    Wanda City Wuxi (Opening 2017)

    Wanda City Guangzhou (Opening 2017)

    Wanda City Qingdao (Opening 2017)

    Wanda City Guilin (Opening 2017)

Wanda Movie Park Wuhan has its own thread on here and is open and Wanda Changbaishan appears to be a ski resort rather than a theme park.

The actual plans suggest it's quite a bit smaller than the original concept art although perhaps this is just phase 1.

Close. It's a little further north than that on the same side of the river.
