Anyone have any idea if this is true? That the new Club 33 planned for Orlando will go in Hollywood Studios?
I thought all the buildings in that area were just fronts without any actual buildings but may be wrong.

Painting continues on the remaining NY buildings by Muppets plaza and possibly Club 33???

Officially the last nail in the coffin.

The Paramount theme park in Spain seem to have been set aside, after the ruling of the Murcia Supreme Court which declared the project illegal, according to local sources. In 2012 a law had modified the boundaries of the regional park of the Sierra de Carrascoy was cancelled. This means that about one-fifth of the land purchased by Paramount for 15 million euro in 2010 can only have an agricultural use.

The new wooden coaster coming to Alton Towers is making good progress

One of the most striking developments over the past couple of weeks has been the continued emergence of the metal framework at the Mutiny Bay end of the site for what is thought to be a large theming feature. Within the metal framework, wooden bents have been installed for the three times the track will pass through the structure.

Elsewhere on the site, extensive excavations have been carried out as work continues on the foundations for the rest of the track’s layout.

The patent filed which fits the bill for Nintendo ride

The patent, dubbed "Multi-passenger Ride Vehicle," is for a vehicle comprising of two or more passengers with user input devices at each passenger seat that can determine steering, acceleration and braking pedals, buttons or a joystick. Images included in the patent show riders split into four chairs in one car with two passenger back-to-back and the rear passengers in what appears to be a way to have riders both in sight of what's ahead in a race and what's coming from behind.

Interesting look at the patents for a new breed of audio-animatronic which are slated to be used in Star Wars Land for meet and greets and photo ops. For use, potentially, where characters were not able to be controlled by a person inside.

Paramount Developers LRCH have signed a deal with IHG hotel group to build the hotels for this park.

The agreement, known as a "heads of terms", will allow the group to operate up to 4,000 guest rooms across the site on the Swanscombe Peninsula between Gravesend and Dartford.
The plans will go on display at a public exhibition due to be held in the autumn, with the sites due to be ready in time for the resort’s opening date in 2022.

Just seen this. Anyone else heard that Nintendo Land will also be in Beijing?
I haven't seen anything official about it?

it has also been announced that this new attraction to rival Shanghai Disney will now also include a Super Nintendo World.
It's also uncertain as to whether the Super Nintendo wing will open during the initial Universal Studios launch or whether it'll come later.

More pictures from the Goddard Group. These make it look a little more impressive as they are taken to show the scale of the park overall.

Puy du Fou are looking to expand into other countries with Spain already in development.

The park revealed this week that work will start in 2018 on a “History of Spain” theme park. Some €200m is being invested in the new attraction, which will open in Toledo in 2019. Talks are also under way for a similar park in China, costing an estimated €300m, with the aim of opening a Puy du Fou park in the country by 2025.
