As we noted back in October, a section of the Studio Tram Tour will live on in a way at the Walt Disney Studios Park. As you might be aware, Disney is going to be overhauling the park in the coming years, which will lead to the removal of the Studio Tram Tour.
The rethemed attraction looks similar on the map to what guests might expect from the Catastrophe Canyon portion of the Studio Tram Tour, but with the addition of Lightning McQueen.

I found some additional artwork for the park and info on expected rides and attractions but nothing recent about construction - does anyone know if construction is still ongoing? I fear this park may no longer be going ahead...

This will be the area with the most extreme equipment in the park, will contain a Vekoma roller coaster with inversions, which will be 35.5 meters high and reach a speed of 100 km / h during its launch. We will also have a Mack Rides Water Coaster and a Huss top spin in the best Phantasialand style in Germany, but adapted to the Amikoo theme.

The main attraction will be a state-of-the-art dark ride, which uses the technology seen in the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey attraction in Orlando. Visitors sit in large arms, with capacity for 4 people, who move through trails and place in front of several screens and interactive elements.

Fantawild Dinosaurs Kingdom in Zigong City is on target to open late 2020.

Construction is now completed for the seven indoor themed areas of the theme park. The supporting infrastructures such as office building, canteen, and staff dormitories, have also been completed and are now being used. The construction of 13 interactive experience attractions has begun. Each attraction covers 5,000 to 10,000 sq. mt.
Zigong City Government teamed up with Shenzhen Fantawild Group to develop the theme park, which has a total investment of 3.1 billion yuan (US$0.44 billion). The Fantawild Dinosaurs Kingdom is expected to attract an annual visitor number of around three million.

These photos were taken on the same day/night. You can see the launch equipment has been installed between the two images.

We know exactly what was lifted and placed yesterday! It will power the JP coaster launch. There's similar shape structures with electrical equipment near launches in Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.

On the morning of May 8, the sky of Xiangyang was blue. The workers walked along the pedestrian walkway constructed with bamboo and wood, and slowly climbed to the top of the rockery hill of Qimeng Beach Water Park in Xiangyang Overseas Chinese Town Cultural Tourism Resort, and began to remove the scaffolding from top to bottom.

"The entire resort is composed of the three immersive theme parks of Qimon Beach, Fantasy Valley, and Qiqu Childhood and the wonderful town of the resort business town. Qimeng Beach Water Park is a phase one project that will open on June 24 and is now Entering the final stage. Since the resumption of work, we have shifted 3 shifts a day, working 24 hours a day. Amusement Today have released their May issue. The "what's new for 2020" section is interesting. We cover most of them but many are single rides or shows that we don't cover. Worth a read....

Atlantis are still listing Ko Olina as "Coming Soon" on their website however given that we have seen zero movement on this in over 4 years, apart from clearing the land of the chapel, does anyone know anything about the intended timeline for Ko Olina?

I spoke with the Dubai team over 18 months ago and they were working on feasibility, finances etc and were under the impression it was going ahead still but I don't have those contacts anymore.

Any news with sources (or unofficial news) appreciated.

I tend to agree, it seems unlikely to open given the delays and other events. Do you know this for a fact and can quote a source or is it just a feeling?

It seems that Dream Island are unhappy that they are being slandered in the media for "unpaid bills" - this statement seems to indicate they believe they are being blackmailed by companies they have paid in return for not getting negative press. It all seems very odd.

HC "Island of Dreams" states that information about the lack of payments to contractors for the construction of the park, distributed in the media and social networks, is false. Dreams Island fulfilled all obligations for payments to general contractors on time according to concluded agreements with counterparties. Therefore, videos with subcontractor organizations' appeals distributed in telegram channels should not be addressed to the “Island of Dreams”, but to the management of the companies in whose staff these employees are registered.

Any unfounded accusations against the company “Island of Dreams” that are not supported by any supporting documents are groundless attempts by competitors to discredit the company in a public field.
Boris Pishchik, General Director of the Dream Island theme park: "Since the opening of the park, we have been witnessing the spread of knowingly false information about the project in order to undermine the company's reputation. We have to deal with a lot of negative comments addressed to us, which are not only untrue, but often are third-party orders.
It sounds like perhaps some of the contractors were not paid by the companies they worked for but are blaming Dream Island for none payment rather than their employers. Perhaps someone who reads Russian could translate better than google?
