GREAT! YOU ARE READING THIS!

Thank you for coming here! themeparX and resortX are dedicated to the unique beauty of theme park and resort construction, to the art of creating these happy, ecstatic and creative playground pedestrian oases that, once operating, create memorable times for millions of people.

It is your contributions in the form of photos, videos and information that allow us to document the birth of new theme parks and resorts in the minutest detail, from the first rumors, on to the official announcement, on to construction, up to the final opening date.

Please follow the five guidelines below. They are not there to bother you, but to create the best possible experience for everybody who visits or contributes to themeparX or resortX. No community prospers without rules.

  1. DO NOT TRESPASS.
It is ok to take pictures or videos of construction activity from publicly accessible angles, e.g. from the street, from buildings nearby, or from helicopters and airplanes. It is not ok to climb over a fence and/or take pictures from inside a construction site without receiving permission from the site owner. We don't just delete such content upon request from the owner, but we also reserve the right to ban your username and IP if you post such content more than once. Rule #1: we like to see what's happening, but we don't trespass to do so.
  2. BE FAIR. STATE THE SOURCE.
Please state the source if you embed photos or videos that are not yours. Even though embedding factually links the board to the source page, it is not immediately visible to other users who the author of the content is. It's unfair towards the person or group who made the effort to produce it if there is neither a link back, nor any acknowledgment of their work. If in doubt, ask the author before posting. If you attach photos and videos that you have shot yourself, you are very welcome to place a link to your own site!
  3. USE YOUR BEST ENGLISH, SO EVERYONE CAN UNDERSTAND YOU.
Many of us are not English natives. But we want to understand each other, so please write in the best English you can. That doesn't mean that you have to be formal or strain yourself to be perfect, but what you should not do is post something like 'I tink dat iss gr8', just because you are not in the mood today. Please make the effort.
  4. DO NOT GET PERSONAL.
Please do not comment personally on other users. This place is all about theme park and resort construction. How are they progressing? What's been done? What's going on? Infect others with your fervor, even focus on the zany or the experience of the construction worker! Private comments about fellow enthusiasts, whether positive or negative, will be deleted without warning, because they disrupt the flow and the focus on the park. There are so many boards out there that encourage you to get personal, and it can be a lot of fun, but here it doesn’t fit.
  5. CONTRIBUTE, DO NOT SOLELY COMMENT.
Please do not only comment on updates, but contribute yourself. You can contribute by posting press releases, news articles, embedding YouTube videos, or - best of all - your own photos and videos of the construction site. If you solely comment at all times, but never contribute, your account may be blocked. Not because you are a bad person, but because it is so much better to visit a board full of updates than full of comments.
