Legoland Malaysia in Nusajaya, which is expected to begin operations by year end, has sold over 10,000 annual passes.
Legoland Malaysia general manager Siegfried Boerst said its annual passes -- which are being sold at discounted prices until April 16 -- were selling well.
Sixty per cent of the passes were sold in Malaysia, while Singaporeans snapped up 35 per cent of the passes, and the remaining five per cent were bought by other buyers overseas.
The buzz over Legoland Malaysia will add to the festivities at its opening. The theme park is the first Legoland park in Asia.
