Sorry I can’t take photos... don’t want to risk my job... but black supports have arrived and footers have been poured for the new Wizarding World roller coaster. It seems like it is going to be a suspended/inverted coaster, as the support-to-track connectors are “underneath” the support structure.

I’ll try to get a better look later.

    Construction is WELL underway!

I took this from the Hogwarts Express queue on Saturday 18th. There was a lot of activity but nothing looks like it's going upwards yet, just a lot of ground moving.

You can see the new purchase above, which is highlighted in red, alongside the 2015 purchase, highlighted in green. For comparison, the existing Universal Orlando Resort is highlighted in blue.

Universal bought more expansion land but haven't said anything about what they are going to do with it yet. Just interesting to keep an eye on.

Universal Orlando now has even more room to grow, because the resort recently bought another 101 acres of land adjacent to the 475 acres of expansion property it already owns.

As first reported by the Orlando Business Journal, Universal Orlando has completed the purchase of 101 acres along Sand Lake Road for $27.5 million. The new parcel connects to the land near the Orange County Convention Center that Universal bought in 2015, bringing their total expansion plot up to 576 acres — larger than all the current theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort.
