I guess the experience at this theme park will be quite intimate (comparable to Discovery Cove in Orlando?) if this is in fact true:

The maximum capacity of the Cirque theme park in Nuevo Vallarta is going to be 6,000 guests.

  6. After a host of billion dollar casinos, this is the first major theme park designed by Gary Goddard which is actually under construction! Goddard was responsible for almost all the great Universal Studios rides -- Terminator, Jurassic Park etc.

So strangely satellite google seems to be more up to date than google maps and is showing some more buildings taking shape.

    August 2016 construction update:

First priority is the intricate network of subterranean tunnels that, like Walt Disney World's famed Utilidors, will allow all major elements to be serviced without any visual intrusion to resort guests.
