On 15 November 2022 (Hawaii time), Oceanwide Resort HI LLC and Oceanwide Resort Paradise HI LLC, the wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company, entered into a non-legally binding and non-exclusive letter of intent (the “Ko Olina LOI”) with, inter alia, a potential buyer for the potential disposal of the Group’s remaining real estate development projects located in Ko Olina District on Island of O’ahu in Hawaii, the U.S. (the “Ko Olina Projects”) (the “Potential Ko Olina Disposal”). The Group is awaiting the potential buyer to provide proof of funds before commencement of drafting the purchase and sale agreement.

The net proceeds from the Potential Ko Olina Disposal will be used to repay the debt pertaining to the Ko Olina Projects.

  5. Another Atlantis that doesn't look like Atlantis. I don't understand why Kerzner didn't keep or enforce a homogenuous style for its Atlantis flagship brand. Atlantis Bahamas and Dubai look and feel awesome, why would you make it condo-style resort buildings in Sanya and Hawaii?

  7. Still no movement at all on either plot of land at the sides of the Beach Villas. Atlantis Dubai have been making redundancies, I really don't see this moving ahead any time soon.

This map shows the land that the parent company, Oceanwide, purchased as part of a bigger project in the area. It includes the Atlantis site.

This is interesting because work is continuing on the other land parcels at the top of the map and in the video below you can see some movement on the parcel of land marked which I think is the land marked as KO OLINA NUI. Not sure what is going on there, some trailers and cars or if its just parking for vehicles from other nearby land but if anyone is local can you confirm if there is work taking place on that land or if it is also not being worked on?

Atlantis are still listing Ko Olina as "Coming Soon" on their website however given that we have seen zero movement on this in over 4 years, apart from clearing the land of the chapel, does anyone know anything about the intended timeline for Ko Olina?

I spoke with the Dubai team over 18 months ago and they were working on feasibility, finances etc and were under the impression it was going ahead still but I don't have those contacts anymore.

Any news with sources (or unofficial news) appreciated.
